Arlita Sue Williams

Arlita Sue Reese Williams, 78, of Grayson, KY, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation in Grayson, KY.

Arlita was born on June 4, 1947, in Lorain, OH, to the late Frances Forbes Reese.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of thirty-four years, Bernard Williams Jr., and her son, Dewey Wayne Dorsey.

Arlita was a dietary manager for Kingsbrook Lifecare Center in Ashland, KY, Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods, KY, and Woodland Oaks Health Care in Ashland, KY. She was a Christian and a member of First Pentecostal Church in Flatwoods, KY.

Arlita is survived by her daughter, Franci (Scott) Burchett of Grayson, KY; daughter-in-law, Rachel Dorsey of Youngstown, OH; five grandchildren: Dustin (Sarah) Dorsey, Allie Dorsey, Alexander Dorsey, Juden Burchett, Bence Burchett; three great-grandchildren: Zoey, Bennett, and Ellis Dorsey; three brothers, Harry Reese of Hubbard, OH, Ronnie (Roslyn) Reese of Lowellville, OH, and Bryan (Ofelia) Reese of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Audrey Colegrove of Boardman, OH, and Beverly Dugan of New Middletown, OH; and a host of extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Russell, KY, with Scott and Franci Burchett officiating.

The family has entrusted Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with the arrangements.
