Billy Gene Kinner

Billy Gene Kinner, 81, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Kinner was born January 21, 1939, in Louisa, KY, to the late Greenville and Lucille Ross Kinner. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kinner was preceded in death by several siblings. Billy was an operator for Calgon Corporation in Catlettsburg, KY, and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Cannonsburg, KY. Mr. Kinner is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Betty Lou Fryer Kinner of Ashland, KY; four sons, James Kinner of Portsmouth, OH, Billy Jay Kinner of Flatwoods, KY, Michael Kinner of Ashland, KY, and Jason (Natalie) Kinner of Winchester, KY; two daughters, Cheryl Lewis of Grayson, KY and Lenora Bradley of Ashland, KY; thirteen grandchildren: Elizabeth Kinner, Jordan Kinner, Allyson Kinner, Aiden Kinner, Andrea Hensley, Chandler Kinner, Linkin Kinner, Brittany Mickalls, Crystall Mickalls, Dova Christian, Candace Bradley, Robin Kearns, and Sandra Jarvis; ten great-grandchildren: Bryson, Cayson, Logan, Raven, Shania, Lou Ann, Jacob, Arron, Sammy, and Paul; and a host of extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland, KY, with Deacon Kenny Sexton officiating. The family has entrusted Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with the arrangements.
