Charlotte Ann Risner

Charlotte Ann Bayless Risner, 73, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Trinity Station Retirement Community in Flatwoods, KY.

Ms. Risner was born on May 18, 1949, in Ashland, KY, to the late Jack Martin and Betty Jo Roberts Bayless.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her first husband who was killed in action during the Vietnam war, Wesley Bellamy; her second husband, Rocky O. Risner; a son, Paul Bellamy; a daughter, Christie Risner; and a brother, Jack Bayless Jr.

Charlotte was a homemaker and attended the Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle of Flatwoods, KY.

Ms. Risner is survived by two sons, Rocky Risner of Ashland, KY and Dakota Risner of Flatwoods, KY; a daughter Kimberly Blevins of Ashland, KY; five grandchildren: Amy Rice, Tony (Felicia) Bellamy, Ronnie Norman, Daryl Abrams, Amber Nicole Abrams; twenty great-grandchildren: Sophia, Marcus, Braden, Casey, Hayden, Caleb, Austin, Gavin, Olivia, Mickey, Jake, Nathaniel, Cameron, Raven, Rylee, Eden, Easton, Reign, Amia, Hannah; six brothers: Tim (Ivory) Bayless, Dan (Dianna) Bayless, Richard Bayless, Joe Bayless, Mike Bayless, and Bill (Vickie) Bayless; three sisters: Jacqueline Roberson, Nellie (Jimmy) Bayless, Donna (Wendell) Lewis; a special aunt, Cathy Bailey; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Noon on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle (906 McCowen Street, Flatwoods, KY 41139) with Pastor Lloyd L. Bailey and Asst. Pastor J.E. Smith officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6 P.M.- 8 P.M. on Thursday, April 6, 2023, and one hour before the service on Friday at the church.

A committal service is scheduled for 11 A.M. on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast.
