David Earl Renfroe

David Earl Renfroe, 74, of Ashland, KY, passed away from an extended illness on August 6, 2025, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.

David was born April 12, 1951, in Ashland, KY, to the late Armond and Verna Delores Griffith Renfroe.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Alan Renfroe.

Mr. Renfroe was a cashier for Clarks Pump n Shop, a surgical tech and paramedic for King’s Daughters Medical Center, and a driver for Tri-State Livery Service. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

David is survived by his loving wife of thirty-six years, Carla Dean Kersey Renfroe of Ashland, KY; two sons, David Michael (Tanya) Renfroe and James Curtis William Renfroe, both of Ashland, KY; six grandchildren: Aaron (Michelle) Renfroe, Shelby (Cliff) Stewart, Ryan Renfroe (fiancée, Katie), Kelsie Burns, Shane Burns, Ian Burns; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family has made private arrangements with Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY.
