Deborah K Brown

Deborah K. Creech Brown, 70, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, in Flatwoods.

Deborah was born June 6, 1954, in Rowan County, KY, to the late Arthur Creech and Lillian Cox Creech.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Creech.

Deborah was a payroll clerk for National Mines and an office manager for Dr. Schweickart. She was a 1972 graduate of Rowan County High School and received an associate's degree from Morehead University. She loved being with her grandchildren more than anything. She lit up and had a glow when they were around. 

Deborah is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Billy J. Brown of Flatwoods, KY; two sons, Shayne Brown of Chico, CA and JJ (Susanna Steele) Brown of Argillite, KY; three grandchildren: Emmarie, Jaycee, and Brenna; three sisters, Joyce (David) Raymond of St. Helen, MI, Delena (John) West of Pheonix, AZ, Janette (Doug) May of Flatwoods, KY; and a host of extended family and friends.

There are no services scheduled at this time.

The family has entrusted Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with the arrangements.
