Dudley Eugene Barker

Dudley Eugene Barker, 69, of Raceland, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.

Mr. Barker was born on February 29, 1956, in Grayson, KY, to the late Stanley Wayne Barker and Anna Lucille Barker.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Barker was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Barker.

Mr. Barker was a Machine Operator for Vertiv in Ironton, OH, a self-employed plumber, and a United States Army Veteran who was stationed in Fort Bragg, NC. He was a 1974 graduate of Raceland High School in Raceland, KY, and was inspired by First Baptist Church in Flatwoods, KY.

Mr. Barker is survived by the love of his life, Martha Barker of Raceland, KY; two daughters, Samantha (Josh) Kazee of Flatwoods, KY, and Anna Darlene Barker of Raceland, KY; five grandchildren: Shaianna, Austin, J.D., Rylan, and Noah; three great-grandchildren: Lilliana, Bryten, and Huntleigh; two brothers, Phillip (Diane) Barker of Russell, KY, and Denver Barker of Olive Hill, KY; four sisters, Glenna Barker of Grayson, KY, Charlotte (Oak) Gillispie of Greenup, KY, and Donna (Perry) Kouns of Grayson, KY, and Deborah (Doug) Keyes of Denton, KY; sister-in-law, Linda Barker of Summitt, KY; all of his very special nieces and nephews; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Pastor James Nichols, Deacon Dave Daniels, and Steven Keyes officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Russell, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
