Elisha Lewis Jr.

Elisha Lewis Jr., 96, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley in Ironton, OH.

Mr. Lewis was born March 3, 1929, in Elliott County, KY, to the late Lish and Greta Castle Lewis.

In addition to his parents, Elisha was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary F. Lewis; three brothers: Ike, Dewey, and John Lewis; and three sisters: Dorothy Douglas, Elisabeth Garris, and Della Scott.

Mr. Lewis was a self-employed barber at Flatwoods Barber Shop. He was a United States Korean War Veteran and was of the Christian faith.

Elisha is survived by his two sons, Ray (Juda) Lewis of Ashland, KY, and Roy “Newton” (Trish) Lewis of Worthington, KY; two daughters, Mary Catherine (Steve) Smith and Bendetta (Scott) Lanham both of Flatwoods, KY; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
