Estle Bowen

Estle Bowen, Jr., 76, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Mr. Bowen was born on March 7, 1945, in Logan, WV, to the late Estle Bowen, Sr. and Grettle Newsome Bowen. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by three sons, Estle Wayne Bowen, Robert Charles Bowen, and Kenneth Ray Bowen. Estle was a carpenter for Carpenter Local Union. Mr. Bowen is survived by his loving wife Kathy Griffith Bowen of Ashland, KY; two sons, Jeffrey Allen (Keschia) Bowen of Ashland, KY and William R. (Andrea) Bowen of Columbus, OH; a daughter, Kathy Lynn (Tony) Akers of Greenup, KY; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five brothers; five sisters; and a host of extended family and friends. There are no services scheduled at this time.
