Freida Pauline Elswick

Freida Pauline Griffith Elswick, 79, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.

Freida was born February 4, 1945, in Ashland, KY, to the late Virgil Griffith and Carrie Hayes Griffith. 

In addition to her parents, Frieda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmie Allen Elswick; her son, Jimmie Allen Elswick Jr.; daughter, Kimberly Sue Elswick; brother, Paul Griffith; a sister, Betty Elswick; and a grandson, Samuel Scott Pennington.

Freida was a homemaker who will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

Frieda is survived by her grandson, Matthew (Leatha) Elswick of Greenup, KY; a sister, Sue Elswick of Mansfield, OH; and a host of extended family and friends.

There are no services scheduled at this time.
