James Curtis Caldwell

James Curtis Caldwell, 57, of Worthington, KY, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at ARH Advanced Care in South Williamson, KY.

Mr. Caldwell was born on November 26, 1968, in Ashland, KY, to Nora Hester Triplett Caldwell of Flatwoods, KY, and the late James Michael Caldwell.

Mr. Caldwell was an operations manager for Green Leaf and a United States Army Veteran. He was a great dad who loved his family and gave his children a magical childhood. He was also a loving son and brother. James was a 1986 graduate of Russell High School in Russell, KY. He was an excellent artist and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Notre Dame football.

In addition to his mother, James is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Kay Hager Caldwell of Huntington, WV; his son, Caleb (Tiffany) Caldwell of Ashland, KY; his daughter, Maggie Caldwell of Ashland, KY; four grandchildren: Kiser Caldwell, Duke Caldwell, Ivy Bolin, and Colton Bolin; his brother, Anthony (Angela) Caldwell of Tampa, FL; and a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date.

The family has entrusted Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with the arrangements.
