Jerry Michael Brown

Jerry Michael Brown, 73, of Ironton, OH, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Harbor Healthcare of Ironton.

Michael was born on April 17, 1953, in Ironton, OH, to the late Charles Henry Brown and Francis Pauline Adkins Brown.

Mr. Brown was a mechanic for Pennsylvania Truck Lines, a volunteer firefighter for the Wurtland Fire Department, and a member of AmVets. He enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, the University of Kentucky basketball team, and NASCAR. He was also of the Nazarene faith.

Michael is survived by his two children, Joshua Michael Brown and Rebecca Williams, both of Bensalem, PA; his grandson, Benjamin Charles; three brothers, Herbert Brown of Wurtland, KY, Charles Brown of Flatwoods, KY, and Kenneth Brown of Flatwoods, KY; three sisters, Debbie Brown of Argillite KY, Rita Fraley of Flatwoods, KY, and Kennetha Olden of Mount Washington, KY; and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Brown Burton Cemetery Road in Hunnywell, KY.

The family has entrusted Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with the arrangements.
