Kathryn Dawn Preston

Kathryn Dawn Preston, 68, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Oakmont Manor and Rehabilitation Center in Flatwoods, KY.

Kathryn was born in Ironton, OH, on September 11, 1956, to the late Elbert Leslie and Hilda Markin Willis.

Kathryn was a bank teller and self-employed housekeeper. She loved photography and was a member of First Apostolic Church in Flatwoods, KY.

She is survived by her son, David Martin Williamson of Ashland, KY; a daughter, Amanda “Amy” Beth (Derek Lee) Sedoris of Louisville, KY; a sister, Wanda Diane Williamson of Flatwoods, KY; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Rev. Lloyd L. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Rude Cemetery in Flatwoods, KY.

Visitation will be one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
