Ricky Lee Burchett

Ricky Lee Burchett, 67, of West Portsmouth, OH, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.

Mr. Burchett was born on March 7, 1956, in Portsmouth, OH, to the late Harold R. and Barbara Underwood Burchett.

Ricky was a self-employed electrician and worked in remodeling and construction. He was a 1974 graduate of Portsmouth High School. He was a lifetime member of the Portsmouth Motorcycle Club and attended Bethel Church at Raven Rock.

Mr. Burchett is survived by his loving wife, Lela Dukes of West Portsmouth, OH; a daughter, Laura (Andy) Adkins of West Portsmouth, OH; three stepchildren, Crystal, Patricia, and James Truman all of Portsmouth, OH; one grandson, Colton Adkins; two step-grandchildren, Miqueas and Lela Truman; a brother, Jeff (Claudia) Burchett of Lucasville, OH; and a host of extended family and friends.

There is no service scheduled at this time.

The family has entrusted Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with the arrangements.
