Rosemary Sergent

Rosemary Allen Sergent, 81, of Grayson, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.

Rosemary was born September 16, 1943, in Ashland, KY, to the late Mae Whittaker Crum.

In addition to her mother, Rosemary was preceded in death by a son, Robert “Pete” Coburn; a granddaughter, Kala Rachelle Moore; stepfather, Lacy Crum; son-in-law, Steve Moore; and two brothers, Robert and Clayton Allen.

Rosemary was a dietary supervisor for Fairhaven Rest Home in Huntington, WV, for several years. She loved cooking, gardening, canning, and camping.

Rosemary is survived by a son, Ron Stephens of Grayson, KY; two daughters, Donna L. (Jonathan A.) Williams and Connie Moore both of Wurtland, KY; three grandchildren, Jonda Nicole (Connor) Grant of Winfield, WV, Dylan (Gretchen) Coburn of Flatwoods, KY, and Cole Coburn of Olive Hill, KY; four great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family has entrusted Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with the arrangements.
