Sallie Ellen Fields Stewart 1951-2022   On Friday, September 16, 2022, Sallie Ellen Fields Stewart, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at age 71. Sallie was born July 2, 1951, to Faith Gwendolyn Judd Stewart of Ashland, Kentucky. On March 17, 1974, she married David W. Fields. Together they raised three daughters, Faith, Ramona, and Belle, and one son, David Jeremy. Sallie received her Bachelor of Science from Morehead State University in 1975. She worked at Sears and for her husband’s construction business for many years. Sallie was an active member of her church, Raceland First Assembly of God, and regularly attended events at the Paramount Arts Center. Sallie loved traveling; she visited 48 states and 16 countries. She was also an avid reader and loved the arts, which she shared with her family. Sallie was a strong woman with a generous spirit and will be greatly missed. Sallie was preceded in death by her mother, Faith Judd, and her daughter, Faith Kristen Fields Clay. Sallie is survived by her husband, David Fields; one son, David Jeremy Fields; two daughters Ramona Nicole Meyer (Fields) and Belle Grace Fields; six grandchildren, Zoie Ellen Clay, Kyla Spaulding, Liam Fields, Wyatt Fields, Beckett Fields, and Milo Meyer; and her many bonus children and grandchildren that she loved dearly. The funeral and visitation will be held at Raceland First Assembly of God, 8034 US HWY 23, Raceland, KY 41169, from 2 pm until 4 pm with the funeral following at 4 pm at the church on Sunday 18, 2022.
