Samantha Breann Smith

Samantha Breann Smith, 22, of Wurtland, KY, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at her residence. Ms. Smith was born January 12, 1998, in Ashland, KY, to Cheri Miller Smith of Flatwoods, KY and the late Samuel L. Smith. Samantha was a graduate of Russell High School and a homemaker. She spent all of her time caring for her son, Easton Kade whom she loved dearly. In addition to her mother and son, Samantha is survived by two brothers, Samuel L. (Peyton) Smith II of Flatwoods, KY and Tim (Alicia) Smith of Ashland, KY; two sisters, Kacie (Elijah) Mullins of Ashland, KY and Jordan Smith of Flatwoods, KY; three nephews: Landon, Ryker, and Grant; three nieces: Gwenith, Lily, and Audrey; and a host of extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Shane Cox officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
