Timothy Dale Kirk

Timothy Dale Kirk, 70, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

Mr. Kirk was born on February 14, 1956, in Boyd County, KY, to the late Willie Owen Kirk and Lillian Cordle Kirk.

In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by a grandson, Elijah D. Kirk, and two sisters, Callie Elizabeth Teel and Lacoma Havel.

Mr. Kirk was a laborer for the Laborers Local 1445 for fifty years before retiring. When he wasn’t on a labor job, you could find him working at the Gulf Gas Station. He had many hobbies, but really enjoyed hunting and tinkering with cars.

Timothy is survived by his loving wife, Neva Pauline Reed Kirk of Flatwoods, KY; his son, Willie D. Kirk of Flatwoods, KY; daughter, Amy S. Kirk of Ironton, OH; three grandchildren, Owen Kirk of Glenville, WV, Jaden Chaffins of Raceland, KY, and Emmaliegh Chaffins, also of Raceland; three sisters, Bessie McLeod of Monroe, MI, Rosemary (Bobby) Drew of Maysville, GA, and Linda Khan of Colombia City, IN; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family has made private arrangements with Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY.
