Wanda Pack

Wanda Lee Cornwell Pack, 89, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2026, at Woodland Oaks Healthcare in Ashland.

Wanda was born on March 11, 1937, in Wayne, WV, to the late Ormsby and Goldie Pack Cornwell.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles William Pack; a son, James David Pack; her daughter, Linda Sue Stiles Pack; three brothers: Lyle, Don, and Rudolph Cornwell; and her sister, Dorothy Morrison.

Wanda was a homemaker who loved cooking and was well known for her water fudge. She enjoyed singing and playing the guitar, going to yard sales, and listening to Bluegrass Gospel Music. Most of all, she loved her Lord and family. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle church in Flatwoods, KY.

She is survived by a son, Timothy (Tammy) Wayne Pack of Ashland, KY; seven grandchildren: Ashley (Ben) Pack, Angela (Javier) Consoro, Jennifer (Chad) Hall, Lisa (Ronnie) Evans, Samantha “Sammy” Pack, Kylie Pack, and Austin Pack; five great-grandchildren: C.J. Comer, Ron Evans III, Andrew Evans, Alisa Bloomfield, and Aaralynn Consoro; a brother, Ray (Linda) Cornwell of Dallas, TX; two daughters-in-law, Carol Pack and Christina Hall; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle (906 McCowan St, Flatwoods, KY 41139) with Pastor Lloyd L. Bailey and Assistant Pastor J.E. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Palmer Cemetery in Russell, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 A.M. til the time of the service on Saturday at the church.
