William Bill Lindsey Daniels Sr

William “Bill” Lindsey Daniels, Sr., 83, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at his residences surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Daniels was born on December 6, 1938, in Flatwoods, KY, to the late Charles V. and Mae Gillium Daniels. Bill was an electrician known as “Foxy” at Armco Steel/AK Steel. He served as a deacon and was the eldest member of Hoods Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Ashland, KY. Bill is survived by his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Barbara “Barbie” L. Daniels of Ashland, KY; two sons, Billy Daniels and Jason Michael Daniels both of Ashland, KY; a daughter, Debra Lynn Vanover of Ashland, KY; five grandchildren: Dusty (Sarah) Parks, Eric (Amanda) Parks, LaNae (Rusty) Thompson, Melissa (Timothy) Wellman, and Lacie Daniels; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Charley “Bugs” (Donna) Daniels of Greenup, KY and Frankie (Brenda) Daniels of Flatwoods, KY; two sisters, Carol Billips of Summit, KY and Juanita Thompson of Ashland, KY; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 12 P.M., Noon, on Monday, February 21, 2022, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Bro. Dale Henson and Pastor Larry Barker officiating. Mr. Daniels will be entombed following the service at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland, KY. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – Noon on Monday at the funeral home.
