Wilma Lou Yates

Wilma Lou Yates, 76, of Midway, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at her residence. Wilma was born September 10, 1945, in Ironton, OH, to Pheaba Jane Salyers Yates of Midway, TN, and the late Delmas Paul Yates. Wilma was a clerk and office manager for CSX where she retired after thirty-seven years. She loved to read and work outside. She was of the Christian faith. In addition to her mother, Wilma is survived by her brother, Paul (Hazel) Yates of Rush, KY; two sisters, Jenny Yates of Midway, TN and Sonda (Samuel) Church of Mohawk, TN; one niece; three nephews; five great nieces; five great nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Russell, KY with Rev. Samuel Church officiating. Visitation will be 6 P.M. – 9 P.M.
